Where to Stay for Shortcutz Vila Real #117

Shortcutz Vila Real #117, subtitled "Nebulosa 3.0", is a session of the Shortcutz short-film circuit held at the Teatro Municipal de Vila Real, in the Trás-os-Montes region of northern Portugal. It is a co-production of Shortcutz Vila Real and the Teatro de Vila Real, and it returns to Rua Escura to show the results of the 3rd edition of the Curso Livre de Cinema em Película – A NEBULOSA. The open course, run by RUA ESCURA, draws on the cine-club tradition and the gatherings of film enthusiasts to open the learning of cinema to the whole community. It ran over eight months under the guidance of André Gil Mata, Cláudia Ribeiro and Frederico Lobo, and this session screens the films made by its participants, including works by Ricardo Menezes, Adriana Assunção, Luísa Cortez, Marcelo Pereira, Rafaela Gomes, Pedro M. Afonso, Rita Torres, Diogo Maia, Joana Santos, Pedro Pereira and Susana Fernando. The screening takes place in the Pequeno Auditório and admission is free. Our Vila Real apartments sit right in the centre of the city, a comfortable and central base for the evening and an easy return afterwards.
