Where to Stay for Braga En'Cena – Quem matou a galinha?
Quem matou a galinha? is a Portuguese theatre play presented at the Sala Principal of Theatro Circo in Braga, in the Minho region of northern Portugal, as part of the Braga En'Cena programme. It is written by José Miguel Braga and directed by Tiago Fernandes, with artistic direction by Tiago Fernandes and a production by Malad'arte and the Grupo Cénico de Arentim. Set in a small village lost among the mountains and forgotten by time, where the Second World War feels as if it were happening on another planet, the days pass by identically until a chicken turns up mysteriously murdered. With no police, no evidence and far too many suspects, the whole village throws itself into an investigation as absurd as it is passionate. What starts as the hunt for a culprit ends up uncovering the secrets, the vanities, the loves and the hidden rivalries of a community that had almost forgotten how to live. Our Braga apartments make a comfortable, central base for the evening, letting you enjoy the show and the city and return to a quiet, restful night close to everything.
